OGUN RECORDS
Was formed to document the music of the late sixties and seventies, which was being ignored by the major recording companies. Thank Goodness! The archives have some wonderful recordings from this extremely creative period and development of the European jazz and improvised music. Held for Posterity ~ Future Availabilty ~ Never Deleted.
Started in 1974 by Harry Miller, South African bassist,the label features his music and that of his fellow exiles from SA who influenced the scene with their special brand of music, and many of the major players of the music of these times . Check our listings. There is some vinyl left but the compact disc catalogue has new recordings as well as gems from the archives, which we are slowly but surely releasing.

CADILLAC JAZZ DISTRIBUTION

Was founded in 1973 to produce our own CADILLAC label, and distribute it together with others of the then proliferating number of, many Artist owned independent labels. Over the decades we have established valuable working relationships with producers, artists, retailers and individual record buyers all over the world. Our reputation is built on our personal involvement in:

JAZZ, BLUES, FOLK, ETHNIC, AND IMPROVISED MUSIC.
Dating back to the commencement of my record collecting and Jazz Club visiting in the late 1940s. Playing, band management, and working in the legendary 77 Charing Cross Road Shop of Doug Dobells’. With the passing of over fifty years my enthusiasm and commitment is as strong as ever, creating a pool of knowledge few other companies can provide.
